Handcrafted in Nicaragua by Pepin and Jaime Garcia, the La Aroma Mi Amor is a new cigar manufactured at their Esteli, Nicaragua factory. This is one of their most exclusive cigars to date and already the reviews are nothing but praise. This cigar boasts a dark Mexican Cuban-seed oscuro wrapper, wonderfully aged Nicaraguan fillers, and finally formed in a traditional Cuban style box-press shape bringing back the sentiments of old Cuba with a taste to match. The Reserva Pomposo has replaced the Oliva V Series Melanio as my favorite. It s just a great stick with a lot of flavors going on that seems to mellow again toward the nub. Superb.
One of my go to smokes !!! A full bodied yet very smooth .
I was able to buy 10 of these in December for $49.99 on a sale. They now cost that for 5.First time I tried these and they are really great.I am a diehard VSG smoker and now have another favorite. This was a consistent smoke from start to finish.I didn t want it to end. Will buy a box for the Humidor.
Great flavor, even smoke and very satisfying!
I am new to Cigars, but have been enjoying the process. My wife enjoys this brands smell, more than any of the others I have dabbled with. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience, no problems with it at all.
The first thing I noticed was how creamy this cigar was. Wonderful aroma and notes of spice and chocolate. The burn was good to very good and the draw was excellent. Mild to medium in my book. The longest lastingCigar I ever smoked. Two and a half hours of enjoyment. The last third was a little fuller with notes of sweet tobacco and coffee. I would definitely recommend this stick for an after dinner relaxing smoke.
This cigar really is my favorite go to cigar. It is a smooth, chocolatey cigar with very dark wrapper. Even burn with a peppered white and black ash. These are very consistent in terms of flavor, draw and burn. Amazingly good right from delivery. I m aging a box in my humidor, but always have a box that I m burning through. These, along with the Padron Diplomatico natural 1964 s are my top of the line cigars.
This is a wonderful cigar just like the rest of the line. I was hesitant because with the larger ring gauges sometimes the flavors just aren t as exciting and pronounced. With this however not true, there is a hint of spice with some dark coco notes and a touch of sweetness and as smooth as silk. A great morning or mid afternoon smoke!
Started out a little snug on the draw but opened up. Nice dessert like smoke, I didn t get any spice on the retro and can t see why they say this is a bolder version of the Mi Amor. I found this to be a smooth, complex smoke, another home run by Ashton.
Expect to find stems and have an uneven burn. Good tasting cigar, however. If they were less expensive, I d buy more and tolerate the inconveniences and enjoy the flavor.
