Maroma Cigars are mellow, aromatic cigars handmade by Nestor Plasencia with a rich-tasting Nicaraguan & Honduran Cuban Sandwich (long & short) tobacco blend. The wrapper is a smooth, medium-brown Connecticut leaf with a buttery patina, and each cigar draws easily for a toasty, well-balanced smoke laced with earthiness, cedar, and hints of cocoa. Maroma also pairs perfectly with a good cup of coffee. New and budget-minded cigar smokers, check out this sensational value and order now.
I read the reviews and figured at the price was worth a try. It’s an average to below average smoke at a fairly decent price, something to have to pass to friends who are not serious cigar folks or for times when you are ok with a cheaper stick. These are the ones you hand out at the summer picnic to any and all takers who don’t know what a premium cigar is and are judging it against their last gas station smoke.Draw is ok, a bit uneven burn, canoeing is frequently seen. They tend to unravel a bit so reminiscent of a machine filled stick and that’s with a V cut. Flavor is a bit of a disappointment especially given initial aroma. Last 1/4 tends to turn bitter at times. At the price you get what you pay for more or less. There are other value labels that deliver more all around for the money.
I agree with Mr. Stone in St Ptrsbrg Fla.These are great cigars and are definitely worth a try. Very nice draw pretty darn consistent for this price range. Really good with coffee...I really love the Toro size the best...but I m hoping they get all of these Maroma Breve cigars back in stock soon...!!
When I saw the poor rating I almost passed this one by. But then I saw the 1 bad rating was from many years ago. FS should remove these old ratings since they aren t fair, a lot can change in years. I love this smoke. It s a perfect morning stick with coffee or espresso etc. i like to smoke it in the afternoon with a nice rum like Flora de Cana. Nicaragua makesgreat rum as well as cigars. And the big seller is the price, unbeatable. Good burn, good ash, easy draw, what s not to like about these treats?
Pairs nicely with Irish whiskey
These are a well kept secret. Smooth and light, perfect with morning coffee. Well constructed, draws well, even burn, holds ash. Flavor is slightly leathery with a bit of earthiness. Soft but pleasant finish. Give these a couple weeks in a humidor and they shine, and get even better over time. These sticks are not going to compete with $10 premiums but for the price they are damned good.
BUY-EM and TRY-UM !!!!!!!!!!
Being rather new to cigar smoking I have ordered only mild rated cigars from Famous. Since these are very inexpensive I figured they would not taste very good. Man was I wrong. These are ten times better than some of the more expensive cigars I have tried. I will be buying these over and over.
Definitely recommend giving these a try you will not be disappointed
Great Cigar for the value - good draw - even and consistent burn - Great very mild smoke if that's what you want - does go great on the porch with my morning coffee - great mild taste does not over power the coffee or evening glass of wine - buyem and tryem for the money!
Good draw and burn, great taste, by far my favorite among the Maromas I've tried.
