Speaking as a part-time smoker golf, grilling, cutting the grass, or just sipping a bourbon with friends this was an exceptional smoke. Not only was the price very reasonable but the draw was smooth and consistent; the ash was uniform and very light; and the flavor was full but no overwhelming. I enjoyed these on a golf trip and my buddies all commented on what a great, relaxing smoke these were. I highly recommend them to the amateur or the experienced smoker looking for an good deal.
Smooth with a bit of pepper, love this cigar. Elegant flavors, a great choice for any time of day.
Great everyday cigar.
Montesino Diplomatico s have been a staple in my humidor for many years. They fly under the radar but are consistently delicious and well made.
I love my montessino robustos, lighter, creamy.finish. i.am a fan of CT shade wrapper
Consistent smoothness, even burn, full flavor goodness at a great price.
I couldn t wait to try these. Put them in my Humi immediately. Couldn t wait, same night l took out best-feeling one and lit it up. Great aroma, wife liked it. Flavor was very good, complex 1/3. Good smoke, draw, finish. I will be buying more. NICE.
I enjoy this cigar. It is well built and the flavors are nice. Just enough spice to tingle your pallet.
I have been a big fan of the San Cristobal Elegencia Carona for a morning/midday smoke but in the last 18 months or so the quality hasn t been quite as good as before. In exploring for alternatives I came upon the Montesino Robusto. Though not identical the Mentesin hits many of the same notes with a very similar body. Definitey the best I ve had in its price range and as good or better than more expensive cigars. Sweet spice, vanilla, and butter. Excellent construction and burn. Better performance than the last couple of boxes of Fuentes I ve had Ironically given that they come from the same people. I will be buying again!
Bought a box of the Montesino Robustos for my son?s wedding in Minneapolis this past weekend. A pleasant, creamy, mellow cigar from A. Fuente. Beautifully rolled, great taste, delicious aroma, even burn, easy draw. Everyone at the big party enjoyed these sticks, even the bride?s mother!
