Although their name may sound a bit confusing, Romeo y Julieta Connecticut Nicaragua cigars are a groundbreaking project that incorporate a Connecticut seed wrapper shade grown in Nicaragua. Created in collaboration done with the Plasencia family ? this wrapper has been a pet project of Nestor Andrés Plasencia for a number of years, now ? the wrapper is a Connecticut Shade varietal grown on Plasencia's Nicaraguan estate farms under cheesecloth, while the core blend is all Nicaraguan leaf.
"This cigar is intriguing," said Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Tabacalera USA. "It?s not a Connecticut cigar, nor is it a Nicaragua cigar; it is the first Connecticut-Nicaragua cigar, and that makes for a big difference."
Made for cigar smokers of every experience, this unique blend offers a medium-bodied, full-flavored smoke with the earthy-spicy kick of rich Nicaraguan tobaccos combined with the naturally sweet and woody character of prime Connecticut Shade-grown wrapper. Add the remarkable balance, the creamy, aromatic smoke, and you've got yourself something few other manufacturers have been able to capture.
Handcrafted in four sizes: Bully (Robusto), Toro, Churchill, and Magnum, the cigars are presented in 25-count boxes (the Magnum comes in a box of 20), and come at a very reasonable price. Add these truly unparalleled Romeo y Julieta cigars to your cart today.
Got in my monthly order from Famous Smoke Shop and these RyJ Connecticut Nicaraguas we re in it. I ordered them for when I want something a little lighter than normal. Fired one up to test them and got a huge surprise. They are really loaded with flavors. I m use to medium sticz being lighter in the flavor dept.. I have new medium to add to my favorites list. I haven t enjoyed a medium stogie so much since when I first smoking cigars. Give them a try, you won t be disappointed.
One of my go-to cigars. Mild flavor with a little spice note. Holds together very well.
Very good Romeo Juliet Cigars R J cigars are my favourite If I can get them cheaperThen all the more better Thank you a Khan
When I first tied this I said to myself, just another Connecticut. Then about 3/4 of the way in I a citrus taste that I really enjoyed. I smoke 3 of these back to back with no problem. It s a lighter cigar as you all know that Connecticut s usually are. Nice uplifting feeling after smoking this.
Ordered these in a 5-pack recently for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It s not your typical mild, one dimensional Connecticut. This one is more in the mild-medium range edging closer to medium , gaining somewhat in strength and body as you smoke it. Nice flavours of wood, nuts and pepper. Good with a morning cup of coffee or later in the day as it has some body and nice flavour progression.Re-ordered in toro size and will purchase again when I run out. As I only reserve 5-star reviews for cigars that knock my socks off, this one gets a solid 4 stars!
