Senorial Maduro cigars are the logical follow-up to this highly-rated brand created by José Blanco. Like the original Señorial cigars collection, Señorial Maduro is blended and rolled at Tabacalera Palma in Santiago, DR. For this series, José used a long-filler combination of Dominican Criollo '98 and Piloto Cubano bound in a Piloto Cuban leaf, then capped off the recipe with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Senorial Maduro also marks the first time José has used a Mexican San Andrés wrapper on one of his cigars. Unlike some San Andrés 'maduro' cigars, the leaf on this blend, although dark, is actually referred to as a "natural" maduro, and not as sweet as the much darker San Andrés Negro wrapper. That said, the flavor profile starts with a shot of pepper and cedary spice that rounds-out to base flavors of chocolate, cedar, and citrus. A smart choice if you enjoy complex, full-flavored cigars, and a must-try if you've already had the pleasure of the Señorial in the Habano wrapper. Round-out your collection by adding some Señorial Maduro cigars to your humidor.
