From skateboard designer to artist, his history as a chef, cigar blender, and everything in between, Lars Tetens is certainly a jack of all trades. He’s grown a cult-following of smoking enthusiasts, and in 2019, came back to the industry after a long hiatus.
He’s brought several brands with him: Cubagua, Phat, and Serie D to name a few. His cigar creations hail from the J Fuego factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. And while his blends technically undergo infusion, he calls the process “conditioning” – but keeps exactly what that means a personal, closely guarded secret.
To assist you in finding something that will be in your wheelhouse, the key comes from the colors of the letters on each box. Blue lettering indicates mellow-bodied blends, white means medium-bodied, and orange are medium-to-full. Red makes up their Sweet N Spicy line, with pepper-laden sweet tips that provide a one-off experience only Lars can deliver.
No matter which blend you choose, you’re in for a wild ride. Find you favorite today!
