I had the exceptional opportunity to attend a couple of Drew Estate’s “Cigar Safaris.” We toured the factory, visited many of the actual tobacco fields, witnessed the rolling process and sampled several of these cigars. I was obvisously a fan of these blends beforehand and my experience only cemented my fondness for the entire line. I found your review very comprehansive and spot on. I wish you had included two of my favorites…the Feral Pig and the UF-13. Perhaps in the near future…. If any aficionado has the opportunity, I would whole-heartedly encourage joining in on the Safari experience. JD, Jessi (Subculture Studios) and the whole Drew Estate gang will treat you well…and you’ll probably leave already planning your return visit.
The UF-13 is king of them all, in my estimation. The only ones I have not tried are the rarest: the UF-4 and the A.
I’m planning on having the Ultimate Showdown between the UF-13 and the Velvet Rat, as soon as both get a bit more humidor time.
