Charlie Toraño is the president of the Toraño Family Cigar Company. In his previous life, he was an attorney. He has a recurring nightmare that he is back working at the firm. Charlie enjoys fishing and playing golf with his son Carlos, watching the Heat with his daughter Vanessa, and serenading his wife Stephanie to the classic tune “I’m too sexy for my shirt.”

Christian Eiroa founded CLE Cigar Company in July, 2012. Although he began his career in 1989 in the shipping department for Caribe Imported Cigars, it was not until 1995 when he finished his studies and earned his MIBA that he and his father Julio Eiroa, decided to increase Christian's involvement in cigars. That company, Camacho Cigars, was sold to Davidoff in 2008. Today, Christian is back in the business with CLE, Asylum and the Wynwood Cigar Factory where his office is located (Wynwood is Miami's art district). It is all about the passion of doing what he loves. Christian enjoys golfing and fishing as well as watching baseball.

As a native Southern Californian, all of my favorite things are nearby: the beach, live music, wine, and of course stogies! Having grown up in a large Latino family, I was constantly surrounded by musicians, artists, and cigar smokers. So, as a novice entering into the world of cigar reviews, it's been a natural segue, very educational, and a blast. Who says work isn't fun?

David " "Doc" " Diaz is the publisher and the editor of Stogie Fresh Cigar Publications. He has served as an educator, researcher and writer and has taught in the Health Education and Health Science field for over 30 years. He possesses an earned doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. Doc is a Certified Master Tobacconist (CMT), having received this certification from the Tobacconist University and is a member and Ambassador of Cigar Rights of America (CRA).

When he's not whooping ass in Dominoes, Edgar manages one of the worlds largest cigar inventories in the business. He loves watching foreign chick flicks while enjoying a glass of Pinot by the fire. Though he says there are many, Edgar admits the greatest moment in his life was when he shook hands with his idol, Mr. Michael Buble.

Eric Angevine is a Sales Advisor for a major electronics retailer located in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has written for ESPN, CBS, and NBC.

Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Miami from the age of 3 months old, Erik Espinosa inherited his great passion for cigars from his father. He’s done just about everything there is to do in the business, including being involved with successful and highly rated cigar brands like 601, Murcielago, Cubao and 601 La Bomba. Erik has passed along this passion and love of cigars to his son, Erik D. Espinosa Jr. who is now involved in the day-to-day operations and helps his father run the business.

Ernesto Padilla was born in Havana, Cuba to a family of tobacco growers rooted in Pinar del Rio. His father, Heberto Padilla, was one of Cubas foremost poets and an outspoken critic of Fidel Castro - which led to his arrest and eventual exile to the United States with his family. Today, Ernesto has a hands-on passion for his work and is involved in all aspects of the cigar business, from designing the bands to selecting the blends.

Fred Lunt was discovered to be the youngest cigar smoker in his family shortly after setting his crib ablaze; today, he's added an avid whiskey and craft beer appetite to his lineup. Fred has worked in marketing, blogging and communications at boutique PR agencies across New York and has personally had the pleasure of witnessing over four breakdancing shows in a single commute on the NYC subway. Prior to his work in marketing Fred was a student of communications at Temple University and still holds illusions that Temple has a better football program than Penn State.
