NEW CIGARS DROPPING: THE LATEST FROM CROWNED HEADS, PLASENCIA, ROOM 101 & MORE!

Congratulations! If you’re reading this, you survived Thanksgiving. Only one last hurdle of 2023’s trials and tribulations. Let’s just say you don’t want to be within 20 miles of a mall for the next three and a half weeks. Best to have it all shipped to your door. Speaking of which, there are a handful of new cigars, primed to help you through the holidays. Check out the latest premium releases, from Crowned Heads, Plasencia, and more, that impressed our palates!

Crowned Heads Le Pâtissier No. 2 (New Size!)

Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua & Costa Rica

Originally a PCA exclusive in 2021, Crowned Heads Le Patissier garnered some serious buzz at the show. When it got released to the general public, CH fans rejoiced. And here to kick the blend into old-school territory is their latest size—No. 2 (Torpedo). Measuring 6 1/8” x 52, this tapered vitola brings an air of yesteryear to your humidor. Don’t worry, the cigars are the same blend, evoking tangy, earthy, full-bodied notes that are best enjoyed by smokers with experience. Indulge in this 90-minute flavor fest to escape the relentless holiday stress!

Immortal Black

Wrapper: Nicaragua Habano Maduro
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua

When we go to Plasencia for an exclusive blend, we know to expect quality. What we didn’t expect was for it to exceed our expectations this much. Not merely just a Maduro over the original blend, Immortal Black features entirely new tobaccos from Nicaragua’s most prized growing regions. Discover a medium-bodied smoke with smooth, natural sweetness, an edge of spices, and a complex character. At its price, you can pick up an entire bundle, guilt-free. Give yourself the gift of relaxation this holiday season!

Room 101 Namakubi

Wrapper: Mexico San Andres
Binder: Honduras Generoso
Filler: Dominican Republic & Honduras Vuelta Abajo

Namakubi may have a rather dark meaning (Japanese translation: freshly severed head), but hey…cigars have heads and I sever those all the time. I think I’ll choose that definition as my head-canon and focus on its flavor instead! Thanks to a tri-country blend of grade-A tobaccos blended by Matt Booth and his friends at Camacho, Namakubi offers a myriad of nuances in its smoke. Most prominently, leather, spices, oak, and a dash of cinnamon. Additionally, Namakubi is a limited edition cigar made for big-ring fans (60 RG) with a price tag that makes it a fantastic choice to light up on special occasions.

Stolen Throne Yorktown Fleet

Wrapper: Ecuador Sumatra
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua

I won’t bring you back to fourth grade social studies and go over why Yorktown was a decisive battle for the American Revolution, but let’s just say that for this blend, only patriots need apply! Stolen Throne’s ode to the war’s turning point smokes with a medium-plus temperament. Expect nuances of oak, earth, coffee, and warm spices to tingle your palate after every puff. Raise your cigar to freedom and enjoy it this holiday season when family values matter most!
