CIGAR NEWS: CROWNED HEADS CIGARS ANNOUNCES ‘THE LOST ANGEL 2022′

Crowned Heads ‘The Lost Angel 2022’ is Eighth Exclusive Series Product Line for TAA

MARCH 17, 2022 – The prequel story to the Crowned Heads ‘The Angel’s Anvil’ TAA (Tobacconists’ Association of America) Exclusive cigar that ran from 2014 to 2019 continues with this year’s release, The Lost Angel – TAA Exclusive 2022. This is the eighth ESP (Exclusive Series Product) release the Nashville-based company has done for the annual trade show. It’s also the second cigar to symbolize the career challenges of the original story’s protagonist, Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber.

Made at Tabacalera Pichardo in Estelí, Nicaragua, Mr. Huber said, “We’ve selected an all new blend for the series and I think it checks all the boxes for intensity, structure, flavor, complexity and balance.” Tabacalera Pichardo is also the factory responsible for Crowned Heads’ Juarez, Mil Dias, Court Reserve Serie E, and The Lost Angel TAA Exclusive 2021.

A Very Limited Release

Limited to 1,000 20-count boxes, The Lost Angel 2022 is an exclusive release for Tobacco Association of America members. Rolled to 5”x52, the Toro-size cigar boasts a dark, savory Ecuador Habano wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and two regions in Nicaragua. Scheduled to ship at the end of May, the suggested retail price per-cigar will be $12.75.

“The 2021 Lost Angel was arguably one of our most highly-regarded TAA releases to-date,” added Mr. Huber. “And I strongly believe the 2022 version will continue on that path.”
