EL FUTURO CIGAR REIGNITES ENCORE LINE IN A ROBUSTO SHAPE

SANTIAGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC –  The blend that made 2018 Cigar of the Year in the form of the 96-rated EPC Encore Majestic, returns for 2022 with a new addition, the EPC Encore El Futuro. The Encore El Futuro is a Nicaraguan puro rolled to a traditional 5×50 Robusto and presented in boxes of 10 cigars.

E.P. Carrillo Encore El Futuro Cigar

Several weeks ago, E.P. Carrillo Cigars did a limited launch of 1,000 Encore El Futuro boxes with U.S.-based retailers. However, the company will open regular orders of El Futuro during the July 8-12 PCA 2022 trade show to all retailers in attendance.

“We wanted to do a size similar to Pledge Prequel, which is the highest-rated “Cigar of the Year” with a 98 rating,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. “The goal was to have the same taste profile of another Cigar of the Year, the Encore Majestic, in the smaller Pledge Prequel size.”

Medium to full in strength, the Encore El Futuro balances notes of sweetness, earth, and spice in an elegant and refined profile that draws an incredibly smooth yet complex taste. Additionally, El Futuro will have an MSRP of $11.90 per cigar.

“Encore El Futuro is about generations that are just now learning more about the business,” says Lissette Perez-Carrillo. “My brother and I are part of the 4th generation in the industry and hope that our younger family members, those that the other Encore sizes are named after, will aspire to continue this family business for generations to follow. El Futuro represents the future of not only E.P. Carrillo, but also those that will share in our journey.” CA
