Cigars Were Made Outside The Dominican Republic — A Short Run First

MIAMI, FL – E.P. Carrillo Cigars has announced the release of their E.P. Carrillo Short Run 2023 cigars. Expected to arrive at cigar retailers later this month, this annual limited edition release marks the first time the selection is being made in a factory outside of the Dominican Republic; for this run, it’s the Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. factory in Honduras. Moreover, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo has made it a point to create new blends with cigar makers from other factories and countries.

E.P. Carrillo’s Short Run series is renowned for its unique, one-of-a-kind blends handcrafted with the rarest tobaccos. This year’s creation is no different, promising to deliver an unforgettable smoking experience that expertly balances complexity and smoothness.cigar advisor news – epc cigars release e.p. carrillo short run 2023 cigars – release – open boxKnown for its richness and depth, each Short Run 2023 cigar is skillfully rolled in an Ecuadorian Habano seed wrapper. A Nicaraguan binder plus fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras complete the recipe.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the cherished Copan tobacco from Honduras after over two decades,” said Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. “Crafting this blend at Oscar Valladares’ factory with his team is a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation.”

“Working together with Don Ernesto Perez-Carrillo has been a formidable experience and a great honor for us,” replied Oscar. “And it fills us with satisfaction to have used tobacco from Copan, Honduras. This tobacco has been a fundamental part of our history and one of my favorites.”
