Cigar News: La Gloria Cubana Releases Its Society Cigar II
Cigar Developed with Input by “Most Devoted” LGC Society Members
La Gloria Cubana has once again empowered its fans to develop a limited-edition blend. Called the La Gloria Cubana Society Cigar II, the expression is named after a group of cigar smokers called the “La Gloria Cubana Society.” These are La Gloria passionados who frequently interact with the brand online via the LGC website and offline.
“For this, our second ‘Society Cigar,’ we have created a smoking experience that reflects the collective preferences of La Gloria Cubana fans,” said Cory Beardsley, assistant brand manager for La Gloria Cubana cigars.
True! The La Gloria Cubana Society Cigar II was developed with input from Society Members who are counted among the brand’s most devoted fans across the United States. They consulted on the blend profile, the packaging, and the size of the cigar in a collaborative process that spanned almost an entire year.
Handcrafted at the El Credito Cigar Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the La Gloria Society Cigar II is a robust, four-country blend made with a Honduran Habano wrapper and an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder with fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The smoke delivers rich notes of leather and spice with a subtle sweetness.
