Cigar News: New Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata Boasts a Symphony of Flavors

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Sonata is Rafael Nodal’s Latest Cigar Series of Note

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The latest in an award-winning line is the soon-to-be-released Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata.  Like its predecessors in the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Series, this latest creation is a symphonic masterpiece composed by a cigar master who knows a thing or two about orchestrating fine cigars of note.

Having studied and appreciated classical music practically all his life, Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability for Tabacalera USA, has always been fascinated by sonatas, noting Beethoven’s Moonlight and other sonatas by Mozart, Schubert, Chopin and Rachmaninoff.

This love of music is one of the reasons why, after numerous rave reviews and high scores for his Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro (Cigar Aficionado’s No. 1 Cigar of the Year with its “Classic” 96 point rating), Nodal wanted to compose a Nicaragua Sonata to celebrate the Nicaraguan people and their land.

“Not with notes or to be played on the piano,” says Rafael, “but with tobacco leaves to be enjoyed by adult consumers looking for something unique. The Aging Room Nicaragua Sonata is composed with leaves grown in the valleys and mountains of Nicaragua and nurtured by the dedicated people of Nicaragua.”

Here once again, Nodal has teamed-up with his long-time friend and distinguished cigar master, A.J. Fernandez. With Sonata they have created one of their richest and most unique creations to pay homage to the fertile and hospitable country of Nicaragua. The result is a symphony of flavors and aromas that evoke the Cuban rhythms still beating in Nodal’s memories, but with unique Nicaragua tones.

Made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez and box pressed with all Nicaraguan tobaccos, the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata was recently presented at the TPE Show in Las Vegas and will be shipping to retailers in mid-March.

Sonata will be available in boxes of 20 except for the Impromptu, a figurado in a box of 10. Expertly crafted in a variety of popular shapes, MSRPs, noted below are per-cigar.
