Cigar Question #1: What is Medio Tiempo tobacco?

By Jared Gulick

We received a question from Spencer in Bordertown, Nevada who asks, “What is Medio Tiempo tobacco? I see it listed in some cigars, but when I look it up online, there’s a bunch of different answers. Which one is right? Also, is it true that it’s expensive?” The Medio Tiempo buzz was first stirred up in 2010 with the re-release (and re-blend) of the Cuban Cohiba Behike. He asked us to explain the process, step-by-step – watch now to see how it’s done. . .

By John Pullo

This is one we “borrowed” from the world of wine tasting – and it’s a key component to judging your cigar’s quality. Watch now for the answers…
