Where it’s at: Note the braided tobacco leaf band, which is very unique, and which you can smoke through. A tart, pre-light cold draw results in creamy and very dense initial puffs with a peppery finish. The smoke is mostly earthy and woody in the early stages. A more pronounced woodiness with notes of sweet spice and a morsel of espresso follows. Some pepper remains on the cigar’s long finish. Later on, more cedar and sweetness arrive with a lemon zest-like tanginess and more espresso. Take a little extra time between puffs. Pair with coffee or Rum.
