#nowsmoking @famoussmokeshop: The Asylum 13 Medulla Oblongata Maduro Toro cigar offers a dense, medium-plus smoke brimming with earth, sweet spice, cedar, pepper, and salted caramel.

Factory: El Aladino – Danli, Honduras
Size: 6” x 52, parejo
Strength: Medium-plus
Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés Maduro
Binder & Filler: Honduras (Eiroa Corojo Farm-grown)
Dominant Flavors: Earth, sweet spice, cedar, pepper, salted caramel

Where it’s at: Rolled in a dark chocolate-colored San Andrés Maduro wrapper, the Asylum 13 Medulla Oblongata Maduro Toro opens with notes of earth, sweet spice, cedar, and a dash of pepper. The smoke is dense and creamy on a long, sweet n’ spicy finish. Burn is slow and even with a gravity-defying ash. At the half the sweetness builds, the pepper fades, and some saltiness creeps in making for a luscious, salted caramel effect. Everything keeps chugging along nicely from there with a well-balanced, medium-plus body. A most opulent, humidor-worthy treat.
