Cigar News: Crowned Heads Releases Mil Días Maduro

New Line Extension Also Features New Blend

Crowned Heads Cigars have announced the release of a new regular production line to their popular Mil Días selection. Mil Días Maduro was made at the TacaNicsa factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the same factory that produced the original Mil Días cigars.

“Mil Días is an extension to the Mil Días we released in 2020,” said Crowned Heads’ Jon Huber. “It’s also important to note that the Maduro is not just a re-tread of the original blend where we just swapped out the wrapper leaf. We began working on the Maduro blend with Eradio Pichardo in the summer of 2023, and Mil Días Maduro is a an all new blend from the outside to the inside.”

Starting with a dark, Grade-A Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, the core blend is comprised of Habano binder over Jalapa Viso, Condega Ligero, and Ometepe Seco.

“The result is a cigar with a flavor profile that’s dense and lush, layered with notes of dark chocolate, baking spices, with excellent structure and a pepper component that is most noticeable on the retrohale,” added Mr. Huber.
