Cigar News: Eiroa CBT 51 Limited Edition Now Shipping
Cigar Made Secretly in Celebration of Christian Eiroa’s 51st Birthday
C.L.E. Cigar Company recently announced that the Eiroa CBT 51 cigar is now shipping. The limited-edition blend was created in celebration of Christian Eiroa’s 51st birthday and presented to him this year during a 300-person birthday party on July 9th at the Eight Lounge at Resorts World, in Las Vegas.
The first Eiroa CBT made its retail debut in 2014. Others followed. And if you think that CBT stands for Christian Birthday Tribute or something like that, it simply stands for capa, banda, and tripa maduro; that means wrapper, binder, and triple maduro filler in English. They even went all out on the size of this cigar by rolling the Eiroa CBT 51 in a 10” x 50 format. Full in body and strength, the cigar offers a smooth and ultra-rich smoke with hearty, charred notes of wood, pepper, espresso, and a long, bold, and meaty finish.
The Eiroa CBT 51 was created in secrecy by factory managers at Christian’s factory in Danlí, Honduras. They also rolled enough to accommodate all of the party’s guests which included retailers, the media, industry colleagues, and associates, who also enjoyed cocktails and many other of C.L.E.’s best cigars.
“What a special night,” said Christian. “I want to thank everyone who attended, and a huge thank you to the C.L.E. Cigar Company team for creating this unique vitola of the Eiroa CBT which is a favorite of mine”
As often happens, such special creations are often released to the cigar smoking public at large. That said, feedback for the Eiroa CBT 51 was so positive that C.L.E. Cigar Company is now creating a limited run for the public which is on its way to select retailer store shelves.
The Eiroa CBT 51 is available in a limited edition, 10 X 50 vitola presented in 9 count boxes with an MSRP of $30.40 per cigar. CA
