Punch has kicked-off The Year of the Rabbit with a limited-edition cigar they have named Spring Roll. This release also marks the fifth installment of the brand’s bestselling Chinese New Year Series. Among them are 2022’s Fu Manchu, 2021’s Kung Pow!, 2020’s Chop Suey, and Egg Roll released in 2019.

“Spring Roll is the yin to Egg Roll’s yang,” says Punch Cigars brand manager, John Hakim.

“Punch Spring Roll is like a three-course meal,” said John Hakim, brand manager of Punch Cigars. “It delivers a great smoking experience in a size that really brings the blend to life, and it comes at a price point that hits the post-holiday sweet spot for cigar lovers.”

Blended and handcrafted at the HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras, Punch Spring Roll is a five-nation blend that boasts long fillers from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico and U.S. Broadleaf. The binder is also a U.S. Broadleaf. The entire bunch is rolled in an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper and finished with a bushy foot. Expect a smoke rich in spice, with notes of leather and a natural sweetness from the wrapper.

Packaged in 25-count “takeout” boxes as they did with the Punch Egg Roll, the series is limited to 5,000 boxes, reasonably priced, and expected to arrive in February.
