Montecristo cigars highlight 2009 Legends of Basketball celebrity golf tour

The Legends of Basketball is an organization of retired professional players. Hosted by Julius “Dr. J” Erving, the 2009 Legends Celebrity Golf Tournament dinner drew over 100 stars from the 1950’s through the 1990’s, including Rick Barry, Dolph Schayes and many other great players from the past. Many of these celebrities were found smoking golf cigars during the tournament.

Guests who attended the welcoming dinner were treated to Montecristo Classic cigars for enjoying while dining and mingling.

A drawing was held for a beautiful Montecristo humidor, which was won by legend Don Meineke, the first player ever to win NBA Rookie of the Year (1952).
