The Perdomo 30th Anniversary focuses on Nicaraguan tobaccos in every position. Abe Flores has been busy bolstering PDR’s growing portfolio of boutique blends. His latest—El Vinyet Cuvee Especial 2023—is limited merely to 200 boxes. What’s more is that he hand-bunched the first 10,000 sticks himself.
Thanks to a dark, sultry Oscuro leaf, the blend smokes potently with notes of oak, almonds, and faint sweetness on the finish. With its rare status, it might not make it to your regular rotation. But maybe it’s ripe for burning for 2024’s countdown.
