Perdomo 30th Anniversary Maduro

Wrapper: Nicaragua Connecticut Shade/Sun Grown/Maduro
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua

Was Perdomo’s last cigar 20th Anniversary? Sure seems like it. Whatever it actually was, the point is…they don’t make new blends often. But we pay attention when they do. The Perdomo 30th Anniversary focuses on Nicaraguan tobaccos in every position. There’s the Maduro (shown above), Sun Grown, and Nick’s ever-popular Connecticut—now with a Nicaraguan twist—available, too (look for their reviews later).

Flavors range from lightly woody and sweet from the Connecticut, to earthy and smooth from the Maduro, to sweet, bold, and savory from the Sun Grown. No matter which blend you choose, your taste buds will thank you.

Camacho Broadleaf

Wrapper: Honduras Broadleaf Maduro
Binder: Honduras
Filler: Honduras & Dominican Republic

Nipping at the heels of Connecticut and Corojo, Broadleaf tobacco sits at an attractive position. And because it’s fickle to grow, it’s usually high in demand and short of supply. And that makes it expensive. What better time for the folks at Davidoff to invest in a Honduran-grown Broadleaf?

Dive into flavors of toasted wood, coffee, sweet chocolate, and pepper in a full-bodied Camacho experience like you’ve never tasted before. With the holiday dust finally settling, maybe a little ‘you time’ is well overdue.

PDR El Vinyet Cuvee Especial 2023

Wrapper: Ecuador Habano Oscuro
Binder: Indonesia
Filler: Dominican Habano & Pennsylvania Broadleaf

Abe Flores has been busy bolstering PDR’s growing portfolio of boutique blends. His latest—El Vinyet Cuvee Especial 2023—is limited merely to 200 boxes. What’s more is that he hand-bunched the first 10,000 sticks himself.

Thanks to a dark, sultry Oscuro leaf, the blend smokes potently with notes of oak, almonds, and faint sweetness on the finish. With its rare status, it might not make it to your regular rotation. But maybe it’s ripe for burning for 2024’s countdown.

From all of us at Cigar Advisor—Merry Christmas and Healthy, Happy New Year.
