This week’s selections include some fantastic new premiums from Drew Estate, a new Monte/AJ Fernandez collaboration for the full-bodied fans, and a budget cigar to smoke while you’re blowing leaves into your neighbor’s yard.
Ladies and gents, it’s Autumn and those leaves aren’t going to push themselves across your property line. This means one thing – a nice, budget-friendly smoke to help you get the job done. Enter Royal Dominicana, a smooth-as-butter premium made by Quesada. These new cigars bring medium-bodied flavor through a sweet blend of aged Dominican long filler, a rugged Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and a richly creamy Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.
Acid lovers rejoice! While Blondie has been a fan favorite for quite a while, Drew Estate has released three new varieties of the classic: Green, Gold and Red. The Acid Blondie Green is clad in a sugary sweet candela wrapper, Blondie Gold features a hearty Sumatra wrapper, and the Blondie Red is elegantly wrapped in a handsome Cameroon leaf. Perfect for pairing with mom’s pecan pie and coffee. If you like sweet, you’re in for a treat!
Need a hearty cigar for that Turkey Day brewski? Florida Sun Grown, a recent national release from Drew Estate, combines zesty Florida-grown tobaccos with the unique flavors of Honduran and Brazilian tobacco. DE’s Master Blender, Willy Herrera, combined a Floridian Corojo 99 long filler with sweet and hearty Nicaraguan fillers, bound in a Honduran Criollo and topped in a lush Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper. Drew Estate is starting to look like Santa’s workshop right about now. With the release of the Undercrown Sun Grown, Liga lovers will love this new addition. Undercrown Sun Grown is decked in a richly colored Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed sun grown wrapper, layered over a Connecticut River Valley stalk-cut Habano binder and a hearty Nicaraguan and Honduran filler blend.
