Where it’s at: Scrumptiously sweet with dense, velvety smoke and a seductive aroma. Sweet spices, cedar, and a faint note of vanilla to start. A pronounced cedar note follows. Hints of coffee bean, cocoa and nutmeg fall in. Full-flavored and well-balanced throughout. Nubbed it down to three-quarters of an inch.
