Cigar News: E.P. Carrillo Enlists Cigar Smokers To Help Blend New Escapade Line
Reading Time: 2 minutes He did it for the EPC Platinum Bash cigar. Now Ernesto Perez-Carrillo is doing it again, inviting cigar smokers to share in a number of Zoom blending sessions for the upcoming EPC Escapade cigar. Learn why he’s doing it, and more, here.
I smoked a few Inferno Flashpoint “Toros” (actually perfectos) maduro, and they’re a good cigar. But, I think the Famous Nicaraguan 7000 Torpedo is better. Don’t get me wrong, the inferno is a good cigar. But, the 7000 has more of the flavors, while remaining smooth to the end. It’s a matter of comparing the Nicaraguan med-full bodied category. And, it’s my opinion, and that of others, that the 7000 doesn’t stand out. I’d enjoy watching you and your comrades smoke\rate these cigars.
Sorry, meant to say the inferno flashpoint doesn’t stand out
Hi Gary –
Yes, we’ve gotten a lot of applause for the Nicaraguan 7000 line in general, so I’m glad you like it, too. I happen to like the Flashpoint line, especially in the Maduro wrapper. However, they are getting rarer due to stock issues as a result of factories closing for the pandemic. If you haven’t had one, give it a try. And thanks also for the compliments, which we always appreciate.
