Rocky Patel Cuban Blend Torpedo

Honduras

I purchased a 5 pack of these cigars on the recommendation of a few of my friends at Cigarzilla. I smoked one when I first received them and I was put off by some bitterness. I normally let cigars rest a while after receicing them but sometimes I can’t resist. I put the rest away and let them sit for a couple of months in the depths of my big humidor.

What a differece a couple of months made. All the bitterness had disappeared and was replaced with a deep rich full flavor with hints of espresso, cocoa and cedar. No bitterness what so ever. Smooth and rich, this cigar ranks up there with Rocky’s best. The draw was firm but good, burn was even and ash was a firm dark gray. I love full flavored smokes and this is definitely full flavored and full powered.

I would highly recommend letting these cigars settle in the humidor for at least a couple of weeks after receiving, and the longer you can stay away the better they will be. This blend has gone from a questionable purchase to one of my top 10 smokes.
