Santiago Robusto Cigar

Dominican Republic

When I read some of the negative reviews about this cigar, I can only wonder what planet they are from. I’ve bought at least eight of these bundles and from the very first Santiago cigar I smoked, I could not believe how excellent it tasted!

I prefer Maduro cigars most of the time, but when I tasted the Santiago, I was extremely impressed with its flavor, and I’m not easily impressed! All my Santiago’s have burned fairly well and each had a nice firm white ash. With one of my Santiago’s, the ash stayed very firm all the way to the band. I haven’t had a premium cigar that held together like this cigar.

This is a short filler cigar so everyone should keep that in mind. There will be minor inconsistencies from time to time, but the flavor and value of the Santiago out-weigh all that! I hope these never run out. For those of you who want to throw your Santiago’s out, call Famous and I will take them off your hands.
