Cigar Humidification

What do you think about adding coffee beans and bourbon to my humidor?

A: As I always say, “to each his own,” especially when it comes to premium cigars. It also makes sense that the milder cigars would pick up the aroma more easily. Personally, I would not do either, mainly because if I want a coffee scented cigar I can pick up a box of Java or Tabak Especial. Secondly, I don’t like bourbon, so that would be out anyway.

If it works for you, great. I’m also a big fan of the Vitola Especiales. Actually, someone in the past had suggested a similar use of coffee beans in their humidor, so you’re not alone. Let’s see what the readers think by leaving their comments.

A layer of tart fruit enters midstream with a light cedary note. A very refined slam-dunk for smokers who crave spicy cigars.
