The blend centers on Dominican HVA and C-98 fillers, layered with a Connecticut Corojo H99 binder and finished in an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper. This is a radical departure for the Undercrown line, which has always been so intent on showing off its Nicaraguan-ness. This recipe, however, slaps each and every taste bud with dashes of white pepper and spice atop a base of espresso, earth, and natural sweetness.

Note that nowhere have we said this is a mild cigar: the Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano Corona Viva has always been a shorter, more concentrated smoking experience. The blend is medium-to-full in strength, but silky smooth from beginning to end.
