Everything about Excalibur #4 cigars screams CUBA: how they're made, how they taste, and in #4's case, the size. It's a Cuban Corona, one of the island's most popular shapes and a powderkeg of complexity. Strike up the band and enjoy the parade of flavor that Excalibur is leading - buy a box now!
Very pleasant and mild smoke well balanced construction and draw. i will order these again
I have tried over 50 different brands and sizes! Outside of that rare Cuban, this is by far the best "legal" smoke I have tried!!
I had some of these a couple years ago and returned the box after two smokes. Thought I'd give 'em another try and bought a half dozen on sale here. Now I remember why I returned them in the first place. The cigar isn't put together right at all. It had a nice draw but really burned way too hot. The rim around the ash becomes black confirming that the tobacco either isn't cured or aged properly or the binder and wrapper aren't working together right. It is creamy tasting, but without much definition at all. Kinda like a batch of cookies made without salt. It's like it wants to be something but just can't get there. Which is what the cigar as a whole comes off like too.
