Famous Nicaraguan Selection 1000 Toro
Nicaraguan Selection 1000 cigars are medium-bodied premium cigars handmade at one of Nicaragua's top factories. The cigars are blended with Nicaraguan longfiller tobaccos rolled in your choice of aromatic Indonesian wrappers with sweetened caps, or richer-tasting Broadleaf Maduro wrappers. The smoke is smooth, well-balanced and earthy with notes of caramel and sweet spice on the finish. If you're a bargain hunter, order a bundle now and taste for yourself. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
I ve had the Indonesian wrapper version of the 1000 and it was good, but I m not a sweetened end cap type of smoker. The Maduro version is TOTALLY different in my opinion. The Maduro smokes likes a heavy medium in a good way if you like that and is wrapped tighter with what seems like more tobacco. Burn is razor sharp. Don t mistake 1000 to mean light in this case, so if you like a strong medium smoke, this is a good one. The 3000 series has a more complex taste if your willing to spend a little more. I would buy these again.
Nothing special, to be honest. Good everyday smoke, taste shows some minor signs of complexity.
I like everything about this cigar but the construction is a little iffy. I actually had to throw one away because it unravelled in my hand when I went to clip it while others will begin cracking and unraveling half way through the smoking process. I've been buying these for a while but not until the last couple of bundles did I have a problem like this. Everything else about this cigar is great however, the aroma, taste, draw and burn are very good for such an inexpensive cigar!
