If you like the Rocky Royale line but would cherish a more “budget friendly” alternative, then I’d encourage you to try this one. Beautiful draw, razor sharp burn, med full spice with a lovely Sumatra sweetness on the finish.

All of the RPs in this price range are really good cigars. But they need some time in the humidor. Off the truck they all seem to have an underlying bitterness that s not pleasant. Couple months in the humidor and they re top of the line smokes.

When I came across this cigar, I didn t think much about it. But when I read it was from AJ, I tried a 5 pack. Holy smokes! A smooth start, but the flavor and power pick up towards the middle and end! Peppery and strong, like I like it! Great construction too! I already worked my way thru a box, gotta get some more!

These were a real surprise. Not usually a RP fan, but I was given one from a friend of mine, and I was blown away. Light, grassy, and earthy at first, giving way to a rich, creamy, earthy nuttiness with just a bit of spice. These are now a staple in my humidor. Forget the RP brand, forget the unfortunate name, and pick up a five pack.

First of all just holding this cigar unlit you feel like it s money well spent. This is a very heavy cigar as far as actual weight you can really feel it in your hand it weighs more than my churchills. A solid, slightly strong smoke I would not chain smoke it. It aims to please and packs quite a punch. Bold, slightly peppery. Maybe halfway between a serious maduro and a soft connecticut. Earthy tobacco flavor. Excellent if you need something substantial but don t want a maduro.

These are worth the price, unlike the 1600’s which were garbage these burn well and have a good robust flavor, came well humidified and ready to smoke. Not top dollar but a solid smoke
