This cigar is awesome! I have smoked cigars for many years and I was recently introduced to the one by a friend. After finishing the first one, I was certain it was a $20 cigar, wrong, this is one of the best values and a pleasure to enjoy.

Have tried so many cigars, but always go back to my Griffin 500's. Ring and length just right and the smoke is smooth and mellow. Please do NOT discontinue this cigar!

I am a newbie and really enjoyed this Cigar.

It has a smooth taste, looks and smells good and burns well. The only problem i had was the band glue was stuck to the cigar and actually tore the wrapper when i removed it.

This cigar is hands down my favorite smoke. The #500 is the perfect size for smoking while fishing and working. It is not overpowering at all and I can hold it in my mouth all day without becoming sick. It has a pleasant nutty flavor, excellent draw, pretty consistant burn and construction, and has a pleasant aroma. It is a very good smoke for beginners who want to taste the difference between a decent smoke and an exquisite one.

These were well constructed and when properly humidified stood up well to a plug-cut. The draw seemed a bit constricted to me but it burned well and stayed lit. A bit harsh I thought despite the fact that it is a mild cigar. In general a taste that was a best forgettable, and not appealing enough to buy again.

I tried this smoke looking for a medium/mild smoke that is smooth, because I have started a quest for the smoothest cigar under 8.00$. The griffin started of with a little bite to it, but it mellowed out, it had a sweet kind of creamy, woody taste throughout. The griffin burned well and had a nice draw, but it just wasn't that smooth, it had a bite to it with a slight sting, to my throat, overall I would expect more from davidoff, maybe the maduro is smoother?

Im forced to give this a one star, rather than no stars. These are AWFUL. Unpleasant taste, inconsistent draw, veins and color flaws . VERY POOR SMOKE. I think they are fake or seconds. Tried contacting FS about this, no response
