Hoyo La Amistad Black cigars continue the collaboration between Hoyo de Monterrey and master blender, AJ Fernandez in this third and most full-bodied La Amistad presentation. The cigars boast a shimmering Ecuadoran Sumatra Oscuro wrapper that encases a spicy Mexican San Andrés binder and Nicaraguan Habano long filler leaves.
According to General Cigar, the challenge for AJ was to craft a cigar "that bears the essence of Hoyo, while also embodying the spirit of his tabacalera in Nicaragua. The result is the boldest expression in the La Amistad partnership and we’re very pleased with what AJ has delivered."
Notes of cinnamon, leather, red pepper, and other spices lie at the heart of this selection which is offered in three sizes: Rothschild (4½" x 50), Toro (6½" x 52) and Gigante (6" x 60).
