I tried Illusione 88 Robust Candela for the first time today and was definitely not disappointed; and would recommend it to anyone.

I bought one of these from my local smoke shop about a year ago and at the time i was a little hesitant about smoking it but one of the guys told me its aged the same way just in a refrigerated area so it doesnt brown. Due to that i had to try one and i am glad i did! The smoke was smooth and full of flavor the wrapper gave off a mixture of spice notes and made it a fantastic smoke. I have this cigar rated in my top 10 favorites because of its uniqueness and flavor.

Great little robusto and a perennial favorite. very consistent draw and flavor. tasty but not too strong. a reliable and consistent member of my humidor society.

Format: Robusto, guillotine cut, quad flame torch lighter. Construction as expected. Draw was good, but required several touch ups with the lighter to correct uneven burn. Flavor is very mild and consists of cardamom and toasted oats throughout every stage. Smoke is thin and light with very little aroma. Flavors on the pallet disappear literally within seconds. Would be a great choice to pair with any beverage from coffee and tea to any beer, wine or hard liquor. Also a good choice to enjoy with a rich meal. More of a purpose built stick as opposed to a daily driver. Keep 4 or 5 in your humidor for when the situation arises.
