Kristoff takes convention to the woodshed with the Galerones series, and comes out swinging with Intensivo. The strongest of the Galerones, Intensivo is a barely-containable triple threat of Nicaraguan, Honduran and Dominican Cuban-seed ligeros bound in dark, oily maduro. A powerful treat, it's the only Galerones Series line to be box-pressed - making it a perfect match for the blend. This is the strongest cigar Kristoff has ever produced; buy your box today, but don't say we didn't warn you.
This box pressed little treat really hit the spot for me. Picked up a fiver and one of them appears to be a little loose, haven t got to that one yet. Right off the bat, these things have a very unique aroma to them, almost minty chocolate. Fired up nicely with a rich pepper and wood. Dynamite draw, decent burn, and surprising smoke output. Fast burn in this size around 40-50 minutes. Slightly uneventful changes but it does them well. Anxious to try some larger vitolas. Wasn t too effected by the intensivo part. Good smoke.0 0
