Kristoff Maduro Torpedo cigars contain a well-aged blend of Dominican Olor and Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos, seamlessly encased in dark, oily Brazilian Maduro wrappers. With pigtail caps and shaggy feet, they're packaged in a cedar box surrounded by loose tobacco for a beautiful pre-embargo feel. Expect a medium-bodied smoke with undertones of earth and licorice, nutty spice, and a sweet finish. Kristoff Maduro cigars embody the taste and richness sought by the true aficionado.
Kristoff produces superb cigars - period. I have tried dozens of maduros and am truely impressed by the quality and evenness of this cigar. It leaves a long white ash, burns evenly and is a must try if you have a quiet 30-45 minutes to enjoy this excellent cigar.
to the hype. Sad to say, my initial experiences with this figurado haven t been as I hoped. Of the 5 I ordered, 1 was hopelessly plugged, another damn near. Nice construction and appearance when not plugged .. quite a slow burner. Ran medium to full in the flavor dept, not as dynamic as I had read.. peppery for certain. I m not entirely turned off to the Kristoff Madura torpedo yet.. I m hoping the remaining sticks I have can bring it back around. So far, for me, it s not the high-90s, box after box new favorite I was anticipating.
