Kristoff’s Glen Case took the original Criollo blend and turned up the ligero, giving the Robusto a fuller, darker personality without losing its polish. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, it wears a Cuban-seed Honduran Criollo wrapper over a Cuban-seed Dominican binder and Cuban-seed Dominican and Honduran long fillers. Toasted nuts, caramel, cedar, spice, and a little sweet chocolate come together in a rich, creamy smoke that finishes clean and satisfying. A great pick for smokers who like bold flavor with a refined, slow-burning feel.
