A very quality smoke for this low price
As with most cigars I smoke while walking my dog, they did have a tendency to canoe. But, when relaxing, out of the wind, the burn quite evenly. An enjoyable, mild smoke. Worth the price.
This is a great everyday smoke, my ‘go to’ in the morning with coffee. Actually, this cigar is better than some more expensive sticks I refuse to buy again. Money well spent, I’m on my 3rd bundle and ordering soon.
I m not sure how the bad reviewers are smoking these, but this is a fantastic buy in my experience. These cigars have flawless construction, great flavor, and firm, white ash. No, it s not a super premium, but it s very good, on par with Flor de Oliva. I have to assume the people with bad experiences aren t properly humidifying their cigars. I will definitely be buying these again.
Very good cigar. Light to medium draw. Toasted the edge and the cigar and it lit up beautifully and easily. Burned consistently. Nice edge. Went out mid way through...probably my fault! Creamy smoke. First half of the cigar had a sweetness, second half notes of chocolate and espresso. Would not classify it as full, but would say medium to full. Absolutely recommend!
Don t mistake these La Zona for Espinosa s first class La Zona that are included in some of their sampler packs. The draw was tight and horrendous, they burned hot and the taste was just so-so. I wish they would sell Espinosa s premium La Zonas separately, but their sampler pack is still a good deal and a great selection of Espinosa s cigars.
Poor construction. One out of each ten smoked clean. Draw is inconsistent. Not a cigar I'd recommend.
I bought 3 singles of the Bullet La Zona Factory selects by Espinosa and they were a huge waste of money. They look pretty good and are long filler cigars I dissected both once i gave up on them but they are completely unsmokeable. The first cigar was rock hard and was basically plugged. I tried to smoke it as best i could but it i had to quit after 20 minutes of struggling with relights and trying to draw any smoke. The second cigar the draw was perfect but the pack was loose and lumpy. The flavor started off interesting but it started tunneling and burned extremely hot. The flavor turned to shit and once i knocked off the ash the tunnel was 2 inches past the unburnt wrapper. Its sad but the flavor was actually quite nice on the initial light but the construction was terrible and made these into worthless turds after a few minutes. The third cigar i ve abandoned to the bottom of my footlocker humidor,Thank god i limited my purchase amount and only went with three singles because they were a complete waste of money.
I m have over the years become a lover of full bodied cigars. I saw these La Zona cigars on sale and decided to give them a try. There is a first and last thing for all things and this was both for these cigars. They are made well and have a decent appearance but that s where it ends. The odor of them was that of a hallway closet. But not until I lit one up did I know how bad they really are. I bought a bundle of twenty as usually do and went through my little ritual to smoke them. The first thing I noticed was I couldn t draw any air through them. Everyone of the twenty were that way. I had to open the center of the cigar with a small bore knitting needle just to get a draw of smoke. That is when I realized that these cigars are just plain awful. The smoke is hot and harsh. Forget the peppery description some critics use as a measuring tool they were very hot to my mouth and burned my tongue. I got the sensation of breathing in window cleaner the minute they entered my mouth. There just isn t anyway other than that to describe it. Even with the hole in the middle from the needle I still couldn t get any amount of smoke from every draw. I had to then cut then in half and try from there but they wouldn t even stay lit. After 17 of these nasty thing I gave up and threw the rest where they belong, in the garbage. Please beware, your throwing your money away literally if you buy them. I had to keep a bottle of cold soda handy to cool my mouth off after every puff. When the cigar burnt down everything just got worse. I ve never given such a bad review of any other cigar but this one deserved it. They should come with a warning, THIS CIGAR TASTES LIKE ****, SMOKE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
