Rolled in the Dominican Republic with a Connecticut shade wrapper, Dominican binder, Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, and medium body, the La Aurora 1987 opens on sweet cedar, coffee, earth, pepper, citrus, and toasted nuts. The flavor feels creamy and breakfast-table easy, more buttered toast and café au lait than sharp spice.
