Thick and slow-burning, the Pilones is a 6 1/4 x 60 double toro from the Dominican Republic that carries La Galera Habano’s Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and medium-bodied character with plenty of presence. Creamy cedar, coffee, and caramel do most of the talking here, with enough spice underneath to keep each puff rich and lively instead of soft.
