Pete Johnson’s workshop project takes a darker turn in the Lat52 Selection Spec, rolled at My Father in Nicaragua with higher-priming Sancti Spiritus leaf and a richer oscuro expression that pushes the blend deeper into cocoa, black pepper, and roasted nut territory. Full-bodied and compact, it carries earthy spice and woody sweetness like dark chocolate over toasted almonds, with enough lift on the finish to keep every puff sharp and polished.
