Got 1 as a freebie in a recent order - thanks, Famous! After it rests up a bit from it s travels, I ll smoke it and report back. However, my research on HalfWheel says this is a machine-made cigar with no binder leaf. And yet, the box illustrations and coupon bookmark appear to say Hand Made. I say appear, because you can only make out Hand Ma-- so maybe it says something else? Regardless of how they re actually made, i ll smoke it and report back...
I also got one of these with my order thrown in and haven t experienced an uneven burn. I actually found it pretty enjoyable after sitting in my humidor for months...Definitely on the mild side but burnt evenly with a pleasant finish.
Great fruity, sweet honey like aroma and flavors. Robusto has a tight draw and likes to go out rather quickly. Burns uneven. If they could fix those issues this would make for a very good cigar experience. Definitely on the mild side. But like I said, flavor and aroma are very pleasant with a cup of coffee.
I received my first order from famous smoke, and they included one of these as well. They shouldn?t have. Upon appearance and smell it was intriguing if not over powering. And once lit, burned unevenly and and even had an ash that crumbled after an 1/16 of an inch. And also had evidenced of being tubed. It makes me very cautions to get to my ordered cigars, and to follow up with famous.
