Montecristo gave the Platinum line a darker, richer voice with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over Dominican binder and a three-country blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian longfillers, all handmade in the Dominican Republic. In the Churchill tubo, that medium to full-bodied profile opens with cedar, toast, and leather, then deepens into honeyed sweetness, oak, pepper, and roasted espresso as the smoke settles in. It has a polished, slow-burning rhythm that tastes like charred wood, dark coffee, and a spoonful of molasses on the finish.
