Oliva Viejo Mundo cigars, the first MACHINE-MADE cigars from Oliva, were created for cigar smokers seeking a full-flavored, premium tasting cigar at a machine-made price. Produced using a century-old format that's popular in Europe, Viejo Mundo (old world in Spanish), differ from typical machine-made cigars because they're made exclusively with first-quality Nicaraguan tobaccos and Cameroon wrappers. Not always wanting to sit down to an hour + cigar, I opted to try the Oliva Viejo Mundo and I am glad I did. This little guy is full-flavored and reminded me of the Oliva Serie V Melanio in a lot of ways, yet with a hint of floral and a bit more mild, These have a Nicaraguan binder and filler and are wrapped in a African Cameroon wrapper leaf. Out of the 5 I have smoked from this box of 25, each one burned razor sharp and never needed re-lighting. Needless to say, I am quite please with this little gem.
I am smoking the 5th or 6th of these I bought a few weeks ago right now. I am by no means an expert, but I can say that when I want a quick 20 minute smoke, this one is about the same as the more well known small cigars. I simply want a smoke that stays lit and has a good draw. This does that. I will probably buy another box in a month or 2.
