Been smoking these for over 40 years. I don t smoke every day, or even once a week anymore. One or two cigars every 30 to 60 days or so. When I first started smoking these they were about 80 cents each. I could afford to buy an entire box of 50 back then. Strong and tasty. Gotta be in the mood to smoke one. I still smoke them on occasion, but I only buy them five at a time and only once in a great while. Wish I could afford to smoke them like I did in my 20 s...when I was making peanuts for a salary. I retired making 10 times what I made in my early 20 s and can t afford to smoke these on a regular basis. If you like strong cigars, give these a try, they are really very good. My next choice would be Montecristo Media Noche Churchill, then El Rey Del Mundo lonsdale; Trinidad, Romeo y Julieta 1875....yummy!

One of these found its way into my humidor. I smoked this on a 30 minute ride to a gig. A strong cigar that leaves you with that full belly feeling. Lots of smoke. Burn was superb and the ash held on for over half the length of this short cigar, with the windows down driving 45mph. Taste was to my uneducated palate somewhat nutty with lots of spice, but my experience with fuller strength smokes is somewhat limited. I'll definitely buy more.

I have smoked 4 of these cigars and have mixed feelings about them. The construction and appearance is nearly perfect. They are wrapped tight and look flawless, causing you to expect a even burn. But so far the ones I have smoked have all burned unevenly. They start burning perfect until the ash falls off for the first time, then it is all down hill from there. All 4 have canoed severely down to my fingers after that initial ash. The taste is great and consistent on all 4 so far. All in all I guess they are worth the reasonable price.

An OK cigar. Had one at a cigar shop that actually tasted alot better. Waited until about half way down for the 'real' taste to kick in. Would smoke one again if it was given to me, dont think I would buy another pack.
