Description
The Puros Huerfanos Maduro Gordo 6x56 is a showstopper: bold, broad, and unapologetically rich, this orphaned premium uses its large ring gauge to its advantage, delivering deep, complex flavors that evolve with every puff.
Before we even get into the weeds here, we know what you’re going to say: “Can a bundle cigar really be this good? With all these tasting notes?” You betcha – this was blended and rolled with the intention of being in the box with 19 other big shot premium Maduros, but for some reason, it didn’t work out that way…now they’re in bundles of 10 with a simple band and a ridiculously low price tag that even we had to check three times, just to make sure we had the right number on there. (Yep, that’s really the price.) The flavor of the Maduro wrapper really shines here: we found waves of dark chocolate, espresso, and a hint of molasses. You’ll likely do the same, and experienced palates will find even more, since hopes were high for this blend before the deal fell through.
How that all went down isn’t important – what matters is the value. Legit Drew long filler premium handmades at prices that other guys are charging for Cuban sandwiches? We’ve landed in “you’d be crazy not to do it” territory. Especially this Gordo 6x56 size – a cool smoker, mouthfuls of thick smoke, and savory flavors. The aroma is nice, too.
