Oscar Valladares gave The Oscar Connecticut Toro the same eye-catching sleeve treatment that made the line famous, but underneath that candela cover is a Honduran Connecticut wrapper over a Honduran binder and Honduran-Nicaraguan fillers, all handmade in Honduras. Mellow to medium-bodied, it layers sweet spice, almonds, cedar, leather, and cream with a little vanilla and espresso depth, giving the smoke the feel of toasted nuts, café crema, and soft wood on the finish.
