Toraño Vault cigars stem from an unreleased blend found in the family vault. Consisting of heavy Nicaraguan filler from Estelí & Condega, a Jamastran binder and a shade-grown Nicaraguan wrapper, the blend was good, but still missing something. Adding a second binder leaf grown in the fertile volcanic soil of Ometepe, Nicaragua introduced an added layer of depth and complexity, et VOILA!, Vault was born. The smoke is medium to full in strength with a spicy, woodsy base.
I love the Torano Vault Torpedo. I just bought my third box. It is bold, but sweet and seems to get better halfway through. The second box was a robusto and the torpedo, for me, tastes much better. Carlos Torano has a winner with the Vault.0 0
