I have owned many jet lighters, and although 90% o them seem great at first, but they never last. Jets get clogged or won t light, and many of them go through fuel very quickly. The Vertigo Cyclone is compact, jets never clog, lights every time, even in a strong wind, and it is frugal with the fuel. At ANY PRICE, this is the best lighter I have ever owned. And, because the price is so good, I can keep several around so I never have to search to find one. This is the one!

I misplaced one of these last winter while smoking on the front porch. A couple weeks ago I was blowing leaves out of the hedges surrounding my front porch. I spied something shiny, & it turned out to be my misplaced lighter. It was nearly covered by damp leaves & mud, & had endured nearly 6 months in the elements. I wiped the mud & debris off, opened the lid, hit the igniter, & it fired on the first attempt! It has lit every single time since that day. This is an absolutely incredible lighter for the money!!!

So I guess I got lucky with this lighter because it is my first real cigar lighter since I had been using matches and it works very well. Maybe it is tough also? Like tough as nails! I would say try to never have this happen but I let mine go through the washer and it is fine. It fired up on the first click as soon as I took it out of the washer! So I know that there are no leaks in the fuel tank and the only thing that happened is that some moisture condensed inside where the ignition button is housed. A full day later it is still working fine. Very cheap, very reliable, very tough and I am very happy with it!

I bought two of these 1 year ago and they are still my daily lighters. I ve had to make a few adjustments from time to time on the height of the flame. Sometimes it takes 2-4 clicks before lighting. All in all, the best I ve ever owned for this low of price. Fantastic value.

I have owned a handful of more expensive lighters. All failed prematurely and were generally unreliable. Wouldn t you know it, the least expensive and most economical lighter is the best I have ever owned.Buy it, and save some money for your next cigars!
